Response From Coach Nick:
No, the HURRICANE MACHINE should
not damage any bat under normal conditions. I have never received a report of any bat damage occuring as a result of using
my HURRICANE MACHINE.
As a high school coach that has practices in very cold conditions,
I do recommned a "common sense" approach when using the HURRICANE MACHINE with any new bat in extreme cold weather
conditions.
I would recommend using the same "common sense" approach when using the HURRICANE MACHINE in
cold weather that you use when hitting off a pitching machine in sub-40 degree weather. The HURRICANE MACHINE is
actually a rotational high speed "pitching machine" that has a ball made of the same material as regular dimpled pitching
machine balls.
