Net Constuction Information
Nets and cages are available in a wide range of sizes and weights. Most netting is constructed in a 13/4" square mesh. The better tunnels are bound with a strong poly rope. Steel rings are in the top four corners and equally divided through the length of the net. The best tunnels are enclosed on all four sides and top, with a six foot entry on one corner. Cages may be available in BLACK, GREEN OR BLUE netting.
Custom made nylon batting tunnels are the highest quality money can buy. The best cages and nets are made of Industrial grade nylon and can be used indoors or outdoors. Nylon nets have the durability to be used by the most powerful hitters. The better net companies have in-house manufacturing capabilities and can build nets of a particular size, mesh, and strength.

Cages and Tunnels come in 4 sizes:
- #15 Knotted Nylon Netting - Light weight tunnel recommended for beginner or young hitters. Approximate diameter is .051 and the approximate tensile strength is 125 lbs per strand.
- #21 Knotted Nylon Netting - Suitable for most applications and programs. Recommended for home use. Approximate diameter is .065 and the approximate tensile strength is 200 lbs per strand.
- #30 Knotted Nylon Netting - Heavy-duty tunnel. Suitable for High School Programs. Extremely durable tunnel. recommended for high school use. Approximate diameter is .078 and the approximate tensile strength is 280 lbs per strand.
- #36 Knotted Nylon Netting - SUPER HEAVY-DUTY tunnel. Suitable for College, PRO and Advanced High School Programs. Extremely durable tunnel. recommended for high school use. Approximate diameter is .085 and the approximate tensile strength is 320 lbs per strand.
