Have you ever heard a player return to the dugout after a big hit and say "That
felt so good" or "I hit that so perfectly on the sweet spot I didn't even feel it"? What does this mean? What causes this
great sensation? It is a widely known that every bat has a sweet spot It is the spot on the bat that maximises the distance
and power of a good swing. This is the spot on the bat where contact is made and very little jar or vibration to
the hands is felt.
There is no sting to the hands when a ball is hit with the bat's sweet spot Contact
